The Environmental & Sustainability track at KAUST focuses on advancing solutions that protect natural resources and promote responsible development. The Sustainability opportunity is a rotational opportunity designed for graduates who want to contribute to meaningful environmental progress through research, reporting, communication, and community engagement. Trainees support institutional sustainability reporting by helping collect data, draft content, and coordinate with stakeholders across the university. They also contribute to the development of the Sustainability Plan through benchmarking, background research, and workshop preparation, while assisting with updates to website content and awareness initiatives. The role combines analytical work with communication and engagement, offering a broad view of how sustainability priorities are translated into action. It is an excellent fit for candidates who are passionate about environmental responsibility and want to support visible, institution-wide sustainability efforts and trainee will gain experience across other SI teams.
Degree Required: BA degree in Environmental Science/Communication Studies
