The Procurement Department at KAUST is responsible for managing the acquisition of goods and services necessary to support the university’s operations and strategic objectives. Comprised of skilled professionals, the department oversees the entire procurement process, from identifying sourcing needs and evaluating suppliers to negotiating contracts and ensuring compliance with procurement policies and regulations.
The trainee will support procurement operations by managing purchase requisitions, creating and tracking purchase orders, and reviewing supplier contracts for compliance. They will collaborate with the Supply Chain team to ensure timely deliveries, identify potential risks in the procurement process, and assist with tasks such as expediting orders and processing advance payments.
